Accessibility

People navigating immigration processes are often doing so in a second language, on a phone, under stress. The site is built accordingly.

01

Standard targeted

This site is built against the principles of WCAG 2.2 level AA: semantic landmarks and headings, full keyboard operation, visible focus indication, sufficient contrast, descriptive alternative text, generous touch targets, support for text resizing to around 200 per cent, and respect for reduced-motion preferences.

02

Plain language

Sentences are kept short and terminology is explained where it appears. Where a legal or procedural term cannot be simplified without losing accuracy, the accurate term is used and defined.

03

Reporting a barrier

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, write to the practice by email describing what happened and the device or assistive technology you were using. Reports are answered in writing and the issue is fixed rather than logged.

This page is maintained by the practice and updated when its handling changes.
